Kehlani’s debut album is coming sooner than you think!
The Oakland, Calif. announced today that SweetSexySavage will be available on January 27, 2017 via Atlantic Records. She also shared the album’s artwork, which features her topless in front of a pink clouded backdrop.
Kehlani went to Twitter to share her inspiration behind the album. “As women we are told that we cannot be multi layered.. we are put in boxes.. we can’t be all the above.. reclaim yourself,” she wrote. “The name is supposed to challenge you. The name is supposed to make you question… only to let you find your own answer. But really.. it’s me reclaiming myself. Me accepting myself. Good & bad. All the way around. It’s me. Thank you for loving me.”
SweetSexySavage will include previously shared singles “CRZY” and “Distraction.”
