Mysterious singer H.E.R. puts her spin on Rihanna’s hypnotic tune “Yeah, I Said It,” lifted from her Anti album.
H.E.R. begins singing the original lyrics before adding her own original verse, which contains an interpolation of Floetry’s “Say Yes.”
“All you gotta do is say Yes/ I ain’t worried about a label / Going in like we ain’t gotta no time left / Pick me up and put your dinner on the table,” she sings.
Despite not revealing her identity, H.E.R. gained popularity in late summer with her debut project H.E.R. Vol. 1.
