Pharrell Williams is back with a new tune from the Hidden Figures soundtrack. After releasing “Runnin” and “Surrender” last month, the producer/artist shares a fresh track called “Crave.”
The self-produced song is about yearning for someone’s love.
“So help me (cravin’) / I’m on the sidewalk (you got me cravin’) / I’m fallin’ over (you got me cravin’) / Rockin’ back and forth (you got me holdin’ my hand),” Williams sings on the chorus.
The Hidden Figures soundtrack will release on December 9. Meanwhile, the film will open in select theaters on December 25 and will release nationwide on January 13.
Hidden Figures is the incredible untold story of Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughn (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe)—brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.
