Multi-platinum producer and songwriter Bryan-Michael Cox has created hits for major artists like Mariah Carey, Usher, Toni Braxton and Jagged Edge, to name a few. The hitmaker is now putting on his artist hat with his brand new track called “Verbatim.”
On the dance-friendly track, Cox sings about a woman who moves on from him after he didn’t want to be fully committed to her.
“I said to you verbatim, I would not be bound to only you / You said good girls only waited / And you were not going to find somebody new / I guess you showed me,” Cox sings.
“Verbatim” is a solid effort for Cox, who is working on a projected called The Thirteenth Letter: Vol. 1. Cox told Rated R&B the project will include some uptempo R&B tunes, deep house vibes and possibly a ballad.
