Moments after releasing her Nightride project, Tinashe shares an accompanying visual. The California native uses the video to express some of her deep thoughts.
“I’m so sick of appeasing people,” she says in the video’s opening. “You have to be a soldier. You have to be willing every day to go out there and look at the world and say, ‘I know the situation is f*cked up. I know this isn’t fair. You just have to enjoy it for what it is because it’s a f*cked up, twisted journey.'”
Nightride comes ahead of Tinashe’s new album Joyride, which releases early next year.
