Every year the Essence Festival brings some of the hottest acts in R&B to New Orleans. The 23rd annual line up is nothing short of amazing with the legendary Diana Ross, Solange, John Legend, and India.Arie to hit the main stage.
Mary J. Blige is slated to host “My Path to Strength,” which offers a night of inspiration “girl power and soul” that will feature performances by Jazmine Sullivan and Chaka Khan. Superlounges will feature performances from Lalah Hathaway, Ro James, Michel’le, Teyana Taylor, Mose Sumney, June’s Diary and Tweet.
