After having her third album announced prematurely last year, Keri Hilson visited The Real to talk about her upcoming project tiled L.I.A.R. (Love is a Religion).
“If you think about it, everyone believes different things,” Hilson told the co-hosts. “Love is the one thing that requires sacrifice — there are so many similarities between religion and love. If we believe this will work, then we will do what it takes and we will be obedient. We’ll do what it takes to make it work. It’s religious. You got to be that committed to making love work.”
Last March, L.I.A.R. was announced in an unofficial press release. According to the release, Hilson collaborated with Mike WiLL Made It and R. City on a song called “Again.” Although Hilson confirmed the information was true, she emphasized that the press release was fake.
“THEY issued a fake press release. THEY have good info tho: Again IS jammin/LIAR IS the album but it’s just not ready. Soon! #nevertrustTHEY,” she tweeted.
L.I.A.R. is follows Hilson’s 2010 album, No Boys Allowed, which included her hit single “Pretty Girl Rock.”
There isn’t a release date set for L.I.A.R. at this time.
