Grammy-nominated production duo Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony, together known as Louis York, has released a video for their song “Don’t Play.” The song is lifted from their latest EP, Masterpiece Collect: Act II, which was released late last year.
Filmed in Downtown Nashville over Halloween Weekend, the video features the duo dancing in the street before they are joined by strangers.
“We didn’t plan it that way, it just kind of happened,” they told Essence. “At one point there were these kids kind of lurking around, we were like, ‘Yo, you guys want to be in a music video?’ and they just started dancing. So, when we’re in the middle of the street in the video and the guys are dancing and doing flips, those were the guys.”
As one of the industries most tapped production and songwriting duos, Chuck and Claude have worked with legends and icons including Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna to creating hits for rising stars like Ne-Yo, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, Ledisi, Jazmine Sullivan and more.
