Sevyn Streeter teams up with Ty Dolla $ign and Cam Wallace for her latest track “Fallen,” which was inspired by New Edition’s 1988 hit “If It Isn’t Love.”
“‘Fallen’ is the perfect description of attraction so intense, it’s intoxicating,” Streeter told Rap-Up. “The moment right in between falling in love and being in lust. That rare space where your emotions are still under control, but not for too much longer. You just can’t get enough of that person, and falling for them seems inevitable. The song features Ty Dolla $ign and Cam Wallace (who also produced the track). Both of them killed their verses!”
Streeter also released an accompanying visual, directed by Mike Ho. “Director Mike Ho and I are back at it again for the fifth video from the Girl Disrupted video series. He just gets me! We wanted the video to be as sensual as the song,” she said.
“Fallen” is the follow-up to Streeter’s previously released songs “Before I Do,” “D4L,” “My Love For You” and “Prolly.”
Streeter is currently on her Girl Disrupted Tour with upcoming stops in San Diego, Oakland and Los Angeles.
