Stream Jacquees and Dej Loaf’s ‘F*ck A Friend Zone’ Mixtape


Just days after debuting “Deeper,” Jacquees and Dej Loaf release their joint mixtape titled F*ck A Friend Zone. The 12-track project includes production from Nash B, iRocksays, YOG$ and Yak Beats, to name a few.

The mixtape with the title track, produced by Nash B and Caine. On the slow-burning, bass-driven tune, the two artists share their appreciation for each other. The rest of the mixtape consists of smooth tracks that showcases Jacquees and Dej’s musical chemistry.

“It was real dope working with DeJ on this project,” Jacquees told Fader. “I ain’t never went in the studio with nobody and created a vibe like this… The music we created is that real feel good music . I couldn’t wait for the fans to hear and feel like it’s another level for me in my career and a sound people not expecting from her. I hope everybody enjoys it as much as we do.”

DeJ add, “As an artist, it’s often rare but always refreshing to go into the studio with another creative and have great energy. I’ve watched Jacquees grow as an artist and I’m excited to collaborate with him on this project. He has a major career ahead of him and I’m happy to play a part.”

Stream Jacquees’ New EP ‘This Time I’m Serious’

After teasing his This Time I’m Serious EP in February, Jacquees finally delivers the new project today (April 3).

The new EP consists of six-tracks with features from singer-songwriter T-Pain (“Rodeo”) and rapper Wale (“It’s on the Way”). Nash B and D Roc lend a hand on the EP’s production.

In February, Jacquees received a platinum plaque for his single “B.E.D.” The Cash Money Records signee is still perfecting his oft-delayed debut album 4275 and recording his joint effort with Chris Brown.

Speaking on his debut album, Jacquees told his fans on Instagram, “4275 is my greatest work but it can’t drop till 1 more thing is cleared and I wanna hold y’all down so I got something for y’all I hate it just as much as you do trust me BUT what I’m about to do is the calm before the storm.”

Jacquees’ Single ‘B.E.D.’ Goes Platinum

R&B heartthrob Jacquees has a lot to be excited about these days.

The 23-year-old’s breakthrough single “B.E.D.” has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America with over one million units sold.

Released in July 2016, the song was certified gold over a year later in November 2017. The bass-heavy song has over 50 million streams on Spotify. This includes his official remix with Quavo and Ty Dolla $ign.

While fans continue to wait for Jacquees’ highly anticipated debut album, 4275, the Georgia native plans to drop an EP soon called This Time I’m SeriousThe six-track offering will include production by Nash B and D Roc, as well as features from Wale and T-Pain.

Dondria Releases ‘Dondria Duets 4’ Mixtape

Dondria has finally ended her six-year Dondria Duets drought with the release of the fourth installment.

The nine-track mixtape includes the So So Def singer’s version of Charlie Puth’s “How Long,” Childish Gambino’s “Redbone,” Khalid’s “Location” and Bruno Mars’ “Versace on the Floor,” to name a few.

Dondria Duets: 4 is the follow-up project to The Day to the Don which was released in July 2017.
