Leela James is preparing to release her new album, Did It For Love, this Friday. Ahead of her album’s release, the singer shares another track from the project titled “Don’t Mean a Thang.”
The soul-infused track dives deeply into the validation that women yearn for when it comes to being in a real relationship.
“You can’t just tell me anything / Although I love it when we’re kissing and hugging / And you tell me those sweet nothings / Those things don’t mean, don’t mean a thing / You gotta show your love,” James sings.
Over the past few weeks, James has shared tracks from the album including “Hard For Me,” “All Over Again” and “I Remember.”
James has a busy schedule ahead of her. On April 7, she will kick off her joint Undeniable Tour with Daley. Once she completes that, she will join Maxwell for his summer tour with other special guest Ledisi.
