The Weeknd (Abel Tesafaye) travels to outer space in the video for his Daft Punk-assisted track “I Feel It Coming.”
Directed by Warren Fu, the grainy clips finds Abel on a deserted planet where he dances along to the song. A woman made of stone appears in her human state and shares a dance with Abel. Following an eclipse and dramatic weather, the woman returns to her stone state before crumbling into pieces. When a snake emerges from her remains, The Weeknd tries grabbing it but ends up turning into stone as well. Daft Punk makes an cameo at the end of the visual where they discover the remains of The Weeknd’s existence.
“I Feel It Coming” is lifted from The Weeknd’s chart-topping album, Starboy. He is currently on the European leg of his Starboy: Legend of the Fall World Tour. The North American leg will begin on April 25 in Vancouver, British Columbia. From there, he will perform in 25 additional cities including Los Angeles, Houston, Washington, D.C, Brooklyn and Cincinnati.
