Listen to T-Pain and Lil Wayne’s Joint Album ‘T-Wayne’
Good things come to those who wait.
It seemed like T-Pain and Lil Wayne’s collaborative project would never see the light of day. However, today T-Pain surprised fans with a spontaneous release of T-Wayne. The eight-track album features production by The Bizness and Bangladesh.
“This ain’t for y’all new niggas,” T-Pain tweeted. “These the lost files from ’09 and I’m tired of em just sittin on my hard drive.”
The project had been in the talks since 2008. At the time, T-Pain and Lil Wayne were at the pinnacle of their music career and had already collaborated on hits such as “Got Money” and “Can’t Believe It.”
Rising singer Kiana Ledé has released her first EP titled Selfless. The eight-song set includes her A$AP-Ferg assisted track “Fairplay (Remix),” which has over 10 million streams.
Speaking on the track, Ledé told Genius, “I just broke up with someone, because I got cheated on. I was in that phase right when you break up where I was really angry, and everything that I did was it was calculated, and I was thinking, ‘What if he sees this?’ Everybody goes through that part.
The EP also includes a guest appearance from her Republic Records labelmate Blackway on the second track, “Shame.”
After spending years quietly developing her skills as a songwriter and singer, Ledé became a veritable sensation. To date, she has generated 50 million-plus views across her YouTube/Vevo channels. In addition to her music, she recently landed a co-starring role on Rev Run’s new Netflix series set to air in 2018 and starred in season 2 of MTV’s hit show Scream.
Rising R&B star Jade Novah has delivered her highly awaited debut album, All Blue. The 14-track offering includes Novah’s previously released songs “All Blue” and “Next To You.” The album also features a guest appearance from R&B crooner Kevin Ross.
Novah went to Instagram to share her excitement about her first full-length album. “I have been on this musical journey for a very long time. From singing background vocals and writing songs for major artists, to mentoring new talent on The Four and now, finally releasing MY debut album to the world,” she wrote. “There have been so many detours, set backs, second guesses…but now I finally feel free to create the type of art and message that I’ve always wanted to.”
She continued, “A special thank you to my husband and executive producer @mrdevinaire for wearing every single hat that it took to get us here. This would not have been the same without you. 💙 My album lands at midnight ET, TONIGHT. 🛸This project has everything from ethereal trap to 90s r&b feels. I’m so proud of this album, and I hope you all enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it. It’s ALL BLUE!”
In addition to her album release, Novah has also shared a visual for the sixth track, “Intuition.” In the black-and-white clip, the songstress bewitches with soul, sass, and style as she literally levitates over the ocean.
After teasing fans on social media, T-Pain has finally dropped his remix to Ella Mai’s blazing single “Boo’d Up.”
As expected, the rapper-turnt-sanga took the song and made it his own before tossing it back to Mai. On the midtempo groove, T-Pain warns his lover about all the freaky things he wants to do in the bedroom.
“I’m about to bust it out the frame / Dick dancing everywhere, I do the ball Johnson / Dick you down / Take you ’round / Got you mall hoppin’,” he sings on his raunchy remix.
