Good things come to those who wait.
It seemed like T-Pain and Lil Wayne’s collaborative project would never see the light of day. However, today T-Pain surprised fans with a spontaneous release of T-Wayne. The eight-track album features production by The Bizness and Bangladesh.
“This ain’t for y’all new niggas,” T-Pain tweeted. “These the lost files from ’09 and I’m tired of em just sittin on my hard drive.”
The project had been in the talks since 2008. At the time, T-Pain and Lil Wayne were at the pinnacle of their music career and had already collaborated on hits such as “Got Money” and “Can’t Believe It.”
