Tank is back with a new song called “When We.” On the track, the R&B crooner describes how he gets down and dirty in the bedroom.
“Who came to beat it up, Rocky/And don’t use those hands to put up that gate and stop me,” he sings.
After experiencing some minor backlash from the explicit candor of the song’s lyrics, Tank went on in an Instagram post to say that “[Sex] gets rough, it gets aggressive, and if it’s done right you’ll feel it the next day.”
Tank is currently prepping his eighth album that releases later this summer. His last album, Sex Love Pain II, peaked at number one on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart.
In a final note, Tank urged listeners to “Don’t be scared to follow the energy of this song. Who knows you might even like it.”
