Rising singer Tauren Wells has announced his debut album, Hills and Valleys, will arrive this summer on Reunion Records/Sony Music Entertainment. There will be a deluxe edition and a standard edition.
The 15-track deluxe edition (digital only) will release on June 23. Meanwhile, the 11-track standard physical edition will be available on July 21.
“I am so grateful for the opportunity to release my first album as a solo artist,” says Wells. “These songs have been inspired by God and my relationships with people. My hope was to write songs people needed to hear with lyrics we can all carry into every moment of life. The process of getting to this place was a path filled with many hills and valleys but I’ve seen the faithfulness of God in it all.”
Hills and Valleys features production by Chuck Butler, Jordan Sapp, Casey Brown, Colby Wedgeworth and Bernie Herms. Wells also worked with super producers Chuck Harmony and Claude Kelly (Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson) on the deluxe edition bonus track “Supernatural.”
This summer, Wells will serve as the opening act on Lionel Richie and Mariah Carey’s All The Hits Tour, which begins on June 22.
