It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Cassie but the singer/model is back with a brand new single called “Love A Loser.” With an appearance from G-Eazy, Cassie makes it clear that she would rather be single than to be with someone who is no good for her.
“I’d rather lose a lover than to love a loser / Everything you did, I wouldn’t do it to you / Got my vision clear so now I’m seeing through ya / Writing you a letter / I’mma send it to ya,” Cassie sings.
G-Eazy comes in on the second verse with his take on the situation. “She said that love don’t cost a thing but got that pussy for sale / That woman put me through hell, I fell in love, but oh well,” he raps.
“Love a Loser” is Cassie’ first music release in four years. In 2013, she released a song called “Indo.” Last year, Cassie confirmed she signed a deal with Epic Records and Bad Boy Records. At the time of her announcement, she revealed a song called “Makeup” was on its way; however, it looks like plans changed (for now).
