Listen to Keke Wyatt’s Country Song ‘Summertime’

Keke Wyatt has released a new song appropriately titled “Summertime.” The Country-flavored tune —which still contains R&B elements — finds Wyatt reminiscing about the summers she spent at her grandmother’s house and all the things that made summer her favorite season.

“I’ve always labeled the music I make like a big pot of gumbo,” says Wyatt. “You’re going to get a little bit of everything. I’m a country girl and I always loved summertime in the country. Life can move so fast, and sometimes it’s good to just sit back and think about all those feel good memories that make you who you are. That’s the inspiration behind ‘Summertime’.”

“Summertime” is the first single off Wyatt’s forthcoming album, Country Fried Soul, which will release later this year. The album will follow 2016’s Rated Love, which featured her bedroom single “Sexy Song.”

Peabo Bryson Shares New Song ‘Looking for Sade’

With less than a month before his new album Stand for Love is heard in full, Peabo Bryson releases a new song called “Looking for Sade.”

Backed by a stirring production, the R&B veteran cries out to a fantasy lover who has stolen his heart.

“You’re my hopes, my dreams / my everything, you’re apart of me,” he sings. “You’re the answer to my question / Is it love or just an obsession? / You’re so far away, I’m still looking for Sade.”

“Looking for Sade” follows Bryson’s previously released singles “All She Wants to Do Is Me,” and “Love Like Yours And Mine.” The latter love song has seen top five success on the Urban Adult Contemporary radio (No. 2) and Billboard Adult R&B Songs (No. 3) charts.

Stand for Love, crafted by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, will be available on August 3 via Perspective Records / Caroline.

Tinashe Drops New Song ‘Like I Used To’

Tinashe reflects on old love on her new song “Like I Used To.” On the Hitmaka-produced cut, Tinashe sings about the reality of moving on from a breakup.

“Never be the same / Won’t trust you like I used to, yeah / Wake up in the morning I can’t fuck you like I used to, yeah,” she sings on the chorus.

Fans have speculated “Like I Used To” is about Tinashe’s ex-boyfriend Ben Simmons, who plays for the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA.

Earlier this year, Tinashe released her sophomore album, Joyride on RCA Records.
