SZA Performs ‘Normal Girl’ at ‘Black Girls Rock’

Just two days after launching her Ctrl Tour, SZA made an appearance last night on BET’s Black Girls Rock to perform her song “Normal Girl.”

Backed by a guitarist, SZA delivered an impressive performance of the raw cut. “Normal girl / I wish I was a normal girl, oh my / How do I be? How do I be a lady?/ Normal girl, oh I wish I was a normal girl / I’ll never be, no, never be,” she sang.

“Normal Girl” is lifted from SZA’s debut album, CTRL, which released this year on Top Dawn Entertainment/RCA Records. The album includes her chart-climbing hit “Love Galore” featuring Travis Scott and her fan-favorite jam “The Weekend.”
