If anyone can make a bedroom record, it’s Tank. The R&B General has released a video for his latest single “When We.” Directed by Topshelf Junior, the steamy clip finds Tank in an eerie building where he meets up with a mysterious woman (played by his fiancé Zena Foster). The visual is certainly very different from what fans may be used to from Tank.
“When We” is lifted from Tank’s forthcoming album, Savage, which will release this fall.
“I wanted to be aggressive. Unapologetically aggressive too,” he told Vibe. “I just feel like for R&B music, especially my type of R&B, there needs to be some type of statement made. We can’t continue to speak softly in the hallways.”
On September 5, Tank will kick off his Savage Tour in Nashville, Tenn.
