Devvon Terrell is laying it all out on his new single “Temperature.” Telling the story of a twisted tug-of-war, Terrell finally admits that he is tired of the games and wants to know how his lover feels.
“Tell me what’s good baby, I’m right here / Tryna feel you out but you still not clear / When you leave me out here I go so cold don’t know how much / You take me out the zone when you f*cking with me,” he sings.
If you aren’t well acquainted, let us catch you up to speed. Originally pursuing a degree in computer information systems, Terrell abandoned his future desk profession for a degree in audiology. Beginning in 2012, he recorded and produced videos of him covering and remixing songs from popular artists. Five years, a joint album, and three projects later, he now boasts a whopping 797,000 subscribers on YouTube bringing in around $15,000 a month from his channel alone. Needless to say, Devvon Terrell is on his way.
“Temperature” is the second offering from Terrell’s new album Weird Nights, which is set to release on October 6. The song has already garnered over 150,000 plays on YouTube and another 50,000 on Soundcloud, in addition to a feature on the September 11 episode of Ebro Darden’s Beats 1 radio show.
