Kelly Price is using her voice and her platform for a good cause.
The R&B powerhouse has announced a benefit concert for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. Hosted by radio personality Ed Lover and actress/model Eva Marcille, the concert will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at City Winery in Atlanta.
Other artists will join Price including Slick Rick, Trina, Case, Big Freedia, 112, MAJOR., LeAndria Johnson, Pastor Troy, Mia X, Donell Jones, Raheem DeVaughn, Gritz & Jelly Butter and many more to be announced.
Tickets are $55 and are on sale on City Winery’s website. All proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction will go directly to two Houston families (with several small children) who have lost everything and Mattress Mack — who is not only sheltering and feeding hurricane victims — but is mobilizing clean up efforts in the area.
