Chanté Moore is one of R&B’s most underrated female vocalists who needs more respect on her name.
On Thursday (October 19), the breathtaking beauty commanded the stage on an edition of The Tom Joyner Morning Show: In Studio Jam to promote her latest album, The Rise of The Phoenix and its physical release. She performed “Something To Remember” off her new project. She also performed her signature song, “Chanté ‘s Got A Man,” which she nailed effortlessly.
Before hitting the In Studio Jam stage, Moore took time to speak with the morning hosts to share the inspiration behind The Rise of The Phoenix. “I’ve been through so much and I had to come out from whatever it is that I was going through whether it be divorce, unhappiness, or joy, or being a single parent, or being single, everything,” expressed Moore. “Everything that goes on in our lives I feel works out for our good and I take that and make music.”
On November 3, Moore will release her very first holiday album, Christmas Back to You. She is on a multi-city promotional trek to drive more sales and build conversation for her new album.
