Justine Skye isn’t pressed on love and doesn’t mind a friend with benefits (FWB) on “Don’t Think About It,” raised from her debut album, Ultraviolet.
Reminiscent of “Jenny from the Block” by Jennifer Lopez, the risqué jam finds Skye sticking up her middle finger to love and getting straight to the point about her urges. “Every time I think about us, I know I’m cool ’cause I know it ain’t love,” she coos over the memorizing beat. “I know I’m cool ’cause I know it ain’t trust.”
Skye continues grind in the studio with collaborators like Jeremih and PARTYNEXTDOOR for her freshman album, Ultraviolet, which will drop under Roc Nation and Republic Records soon.
