Lalah Hathaway will release her eighth studio album, Honestly, on November 3.
Led by “I Can’t Wait,” the album will feature past and present records that document her current life journey.
“My approach has always been to find and write great stories, which was a driving factor behind the creation of Honestly,” said Hathaway. “This album is a collection of entirely new and original recordings that really express where I am at this moment in time.”
Fans can pre-order Honestly now on iTunes. Fans who purchase traditional albums at Target (both online and retail locations) will receive two bonus tracks including an acoustic version of “Change Ya Life” and a Teddy Riley remix of her lead single “I Can’t Wait.”
On November 13, Hathaway will perform at the Highline Ballroom in New York.
