After dropping “My Woman,” Tone Stith returns with a made-for-the-bedroom song called “Beat It Down.”
Co-written by Stith and The Prblm Slvers, the mid-tempo tune finds him warning his woman of all the freaky things he’s going to do with her. “Baby, I’ma wake you up / Get ready / Cause girl I’m about to beat down,” he sings.
Stith’s pen game can’t be ignored. This week he celebrated a huge milestone. Chris Brown’s hit song “Liquor,” which he co-wrote and co-produced, was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Stith went to Instagram to share his excitement. “MY SONG WENT PLATINUM!!!THANK YOU LORD!!!,” he wrote. “Shout out to the bro @chrisbrownofficial for taking it to the next level!”
This summer Stith released his first mixtape, Can We Talk, which was well-received by fans and critics.
