Eric Bellinger Releases Relaxing New EP ‘Mediation’

Eric Bellinger offers listeners some peace and tranquility on his latest EP titled Mediation.

The singer-songwriter released the five-track offering to shed light on National Mediation Day (May 31). “I really wanted to bring awareness to the lifestyle as a whole,” he expressed. “I truly believe that yoga and meditation have changed my life for the better. It was a secret to my happiness I felt I needed to share and music is my voice.”

Bellinger also found the motivation to release Mediation after looking at his own life. “I listen to smooth meditation sounds, like nature, flutes and waves every day and they allow me to tap into a different realm mentally,” he shared. “Breaking through the surface to new levels of clarity and creativity. I often times find myself coming up with melodies and harmonizing to the different sounds creating an even deeper experience with added vocals. I felt it was necessary to give those same vibes to the world in a way that would impact the meditation community merging my style of song, while at the same time promoting and spreading positive energy.”

Mediation doesn’t come far behind his album Eazy Call, which was released in April. Bellinger is currently on tour supporting the new project. Tickets are available on ericbellinger.com/tour. He’s also giving away free tickets on his Instagram.

Eric Bellinger and Ne-Yo Sport Spandex in ‘Dirty Dancin’ Video

Let’s get physical.

Eric Bellinger and Ne-Yo burn a few calories teaching “Dirty Dancin'” in their humorous new video.

In the Arrad-directed clip, Bellinger fills in as a dance instructor after meeting a sexy student downstairs who was about to leave the canceled class. The Grammy-winning singer/songwriter suits up in fitting attire — tight sports leggings and matching head band — and starts off class alone until Ne-Yo joins him for the workout fun.

“I remember sending the song over to Ne-Yo and just remember hoping he’d jump on it,” Bellinger said about enlisting Ne-Yo for the record. “One night he hit me and told me to come by the lab but didn’t say for what. When I walked in he said, ‘Surprise.’ He pressed play and he had recorded his verse for ‘Dirty Dancing,’ I couldn’t believe it!”

“Dirty Dancin'” is lifted from Bellinger’s latest album, Eazy Call, which dropped in April. Last month, he released an calming EP titled Mediation to bring awareness to National Mediation Day.

Macy Gray Announces Tenth Album ‘Ruby’ and Shares New Song ‘Sugar Daddy’

Macy Gray satisfies her sweet tooth on her new single “Sugar Daddy.”

On the sassy trap record, co-written by Meghan Trainor, the raspy vocalist tells her sugar plug to supply her needs in candy; not dollars. “And I know I got it bad, I got a problem,” Gray sings, “But I’ll take them cavities long as I get them from you.”

Along with releasing “Sugar Daddy,” Gray shares its accompanying visual. The Christian Lamb–directed video, which stars Kevin Ross, is an ode the 1972 Billie Holiday biopic Lady Sings the Blues, which starred music icon Diana Ross as the lady of the hour.

“Sugar Daddy” is the lead single off Gray’s new album, Ruby, which is set to arrive on September 7. The album will mark her first release since 2016’s Stripped jazz covers album. In addition to Trainor, the Tommy Park Lumpkins co-produced record will feature Gary Clark Jr., Johan Carlsson and Tommy Brown.

Tiffany Evans Reminds Us ‘Money Ain’t Everything’ on New Song

Tiffany Evans is using her beautiful voice to spread a positive message. The singer/actress has released a new track on her Soundcloud called “Money Ain’t Everything.”

Evans revealed she wrote and recorded the song four years ago. “I was in a really vulnerable space in my life,” she said in a statement. “I remember being fed up with the world being so materialistic to the point where we hurt others just to get what we want. I just wanted to spread a message that Money Ain’t Everything. It doesn’t guarantee life or happiness or true love. Inner peace, compassion for others and your purpose is really all that matters in the end. With the way everything is happening in the world right now, I hope this song speaks to every soul out there that is seeking Peace.”

“Money Ain’t Everything” is the first song Evans has released this year. Although the track isn’t an official single it will definitely hold over fans until she drops her new project later this year.
