Emerging alternative artist Masego makes a splash on the music scene with his debut single “Lady Lady.”
On the jazz-influenced track, produced by TDE’s Sounwave, the Jamaican native satisfies our ears with his charming vocals as he coos softly to his “Lady Lady.”
The song title means “My Love,” according to Masego, who wanted to tribute the radiant powerful women in his life.
“Lady Lady” is just the beginning for Masego. The multi-instrumentalist is currently working on his debut album, which is slated to arrive later this year. The project will serve as a follow-up to his 2016 release The Pink Polo EP.
This summer, Masego will serve as an opening act for Leon Bridges’ amphitheater tour. The series of shows starts on June 16 at the Smokin’ Grooves Festival. From there, he will travel across the U.S. in major cities including Raleigh, Atlanta, Austin and San Diego. The tour will end on September 8 in Las Vegas at the Pearl Concert Theater.
