J-Sol has released the video for his latest single “Do That” featuring fellow London native Monique Lawz.
In the lighthearted clip, J-Sol takes a journey through the city in almost every way imaginable — from taking a taxi to borrowing an elderly woman’s electric scooter — before making a pit stop at a convenience store where he runs into Lawz. From the moment he sees her, he tries to find ways to woo get her attention. In between shots, the video shows Lawz posing at a telephone booth and J-Sol showing off his slick dance moves in the middle of the street.
Speaking on the video, J-Sol tells Rated R&B, “I came up with the video treatment. I was adamant about paying homage to London’s many iconic symbols, such as the black cab, Barclays bikes, and the red telephone box.”
“Do That” is the follow-up to J-Sol’s previously released tracks “Sober” and “Wish I Could.” He is currently working on his mixtape, which will hopefully arrive later this year.
