Mýa puts on a one-woman show in the spicy video for “Damage” off her T.K.O (The Knock Out) album.
With creative direction from Galen Hooks, the lustful clip shows the singer dancing vibrantly as the words about going above and beyond for a lover plays in the industrial background.
“‘Damage’ is about taking risks, stepping into new territory regardless of the outcome,” Mýa says. “This thing we call love has always been tricky and as beautiful as it can be, we can potentially lose ourselves in it. With the good often comes the bad. That’s life and it’s scary. But the song expresses that with an intense passion and yearning, I’m willing to risk it all for that special one who sets my soul and desire on fire, despite the potential damage it may bring.”
In June, Mýa released a dance-heavy visual for “You Got Me.” She released the video for “Ready for Whatever” nearly a year prior. Each song is from her T.K.O era.
