BJ The Chicago Kid hops on the short film wave for his pre-album taster, The Opening Ceremony.
In the six-minute visual, the R&B champion depicts the everyday life of an African American life in the suburbs of Los Angeles. As the detailed clip runs down BJ’s three songs, frames of kickbacks, gunfire, romance and ganja smoke are shown throughout.
BJ The Chicago Kid is working on his “incredible” new album. “I’ve grown. I’ve evolved. Life has evolved for me. I’ve grown and seen the world with my label Motown Records. It’s been an incredible asset to add to the music. I just can’t wait to put it out the right way,” shared BJ the Chicago with Rated R&B.
