Raheem DeVaughn has earned another top 10 hit. His current single “Don’t Come Easy,” produced by Kid Classic, has reached No. 9 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart this week.
The grown-and-sexy jam achieved this feat in its 12th week, after debuting at No. 30 in June. “Don’t Come Easy” marks DeVaughn’s fourth top 10 single on the chart.
Serving as the lead single from DeVaughn’s forthcoming album, Decade of a Love King, “Don’t Come Easy” entered the top 10 on urban Adult Contemporary radio this week.
“The album will definitely be out this year,” said DeVaughn to The Boombox. “I’m on my second decade, man, so it’s a celebration, and I’m where I want to be sonically.”
On Saturday (Aug. 25), DeVaughn will be performing at the 2018 Rochester Music Festival in New York.
