Lloyd’s fifth album Tru is here. The 11-track offering, which is his first album since 2011’s King of Hearts, includes his latest single “Caramel” along with seven tracks from 2016 EP, Tru.
The album features guest appearances from Lil’ Wayne, Rick Ross, Sevyn Streeter, River, Curren$y and Khujo Goodie.
“If you liked the EP, then you’ll love LP,” Lloyd told Rated R&B in an interview. “I talk about how becoming a father made me reflect on losing a sister, who was also a child. Also, I think just continuing the push towards to something more soulful in nature. I did a lot of soul-searching. I spent a lot of time alone. I spent a lot of time with family — and I actually became a father.”
