Jackson, who is one of the most successful pop/R&B acts of all-time, has received two prior HOF recommendations in 2016 and 2017. Rufus featuring Chaka Khan are up for their second nod. Khan received a solo nomination for the class of 2016; yet didn’t she get inducted.

More than 1,000 voting members, comprised of artists, historians and music industry influencers, will cast their ballots before the inductees reveal in December.
