Consistent is one word to describe Tory Lanez. The Toronto-based artist has released his second album of 2018 today titled Love Me Now? The project comes only seven months after his sophomore album, Memories Don’t Die.
Consisting of 15 tracks, Lanez enlisted an all-star cast of R&B/hip-hop artists including Bryson Tiller, Chris Brown, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, A Boogie with Da Hoodie and many more to make the LP more appealing to all fans.
“My whole thing was just trying to dive into everybody’s different lane and just try and be diverse with the features, like making sure the features weren’t all like Atlanta-based,” said Lanez to Beats 1 radio about the star-studded track list. “I wanted to make sure that everybody was from everywhere, and that it was just an all-around collaborative project. It’s more like a mixtape to me, to be honest with you.”
On the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart this week, “TAlk tO Me,” Lanez’ Rich The Kid-assisted single, is No. 15 after debuting nine weeks ago. The song is also in the top 10 of urban radio.
