While DaniLeigh’s breakout hit “Lil Bebe” continues to make waves, the genre-blending star slows down the tempo for her latest track “Blue Chips.”
Over a trippy production, the 23-year-old sings, “My whip look vader / Watch me flip my roof up / Boss up get my paper / Lil bitch u won’t do somethin’ / Bitch I’m like some blue chips.”
DaniLeigh also shared the accompanying visual for “Blue Chips,” which finds her mostly under water. In an Instagram post, she shared her experience filming the video. “One of the hardest things I’ve ever done .. 😩 it was freeeeezingg, teeth chattering, booger’s wouldn’t stop coming out, and I hit my nose coming up from this tank lol .. it was worth it tho,” she wrote.
On November 30, the Def Jam signee will release her new album titled The Plan. On January 31, she will launch her headlining Be Yourself Tour in San Fransico, Calif. From there, Dani will travel across North America with stops in Los Angeles, Houston, Philadelphia and Chicago, to name a few.
