On the heels of her first Grammy nomination, Jorja Smith is finding it hard to move on from a toxic relationship in her official video for “The One.”
Clad in vintage looks, the singer contemplates over the course of several frames in her ’60s-style crash pad to leave her partially seen lover. Every time she gets an ounce of strength to leave and hop in her ordered taxi, she closes the door back and returns to her occupied room.
“The One” appears on her debut album, Lost & Found, which was released this summer. The masterpiece earned Smith a shot for Best New Artist at the 61st Grammy Awards.
