Jorja Smith makes her formal introduction to the world with her debut album, Lost & Found.
Going solo without any features, the 12-track project hears Smith sharing personal and relevant stories on love and life. She co-penned a loving ballad titled “The One” with her boyfriend Joel Compass. “It was a sad session because I was writing about not wanting to be with him but really liking him,” she tells Billboard. “It’s such an honest song — we were talking to each other through the session. When we played it back, I swear a tear came down my face.”
The album includes previously released singles “Teenage Fantasy,” “Blue Lights” and “February 3rd.” The latter track appeared on the season two soundtrack of HBO’s hit series Insecure.
