Kali Uchis had a pretty awesome time on her first headlining tour this fall. The melodic singer gives fans a chance to relive the sold-out experience with dope footage from her In Your Dreams Tour.
Enjoying herself both off and on the stage, the video features Uchis performing sensually, sipping champagne with Drake and dancing around with her good friend in the music world Jorja Smith.
Speaking to Billboard recently, Uchis explained how much being on the road meant to her. “I’m really proud to have had such a successful tour. I never had any experience performing and didn’t know anybody in the industry when I started. I started literally in my room looping samples. So for me, getting the start in touring was a whole different world I didn’t know about.”
She also shared wishes for more trap songs about love in 2019. “I feel like it’s a lot of “I’m that guy, I got money, I got bitches.” It’s really nice when I hear a rapper talking about somebody who broke his heart or eating pussy. I want to think about that. I want to think about you eating pussy, I don’t want to imagine you getting your dick sucked. [Laughs] Let’s be vulnerable.”
