Leela James is ending 2018 in a showstopping way. The soul singer has released her rendition of “This is Me” from The Greatest Showman: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
Accompanied by a dramatic production, James controls listeners attention with her beautifully flawed voice as she sings the inspirational score.
“I am brave, I am bruised / I am who I’m meant to be, this is me,” she roars amazingly. “Look out ’cause here I come / And I’m marching on to the beat I drum / I’m not scared to be seen / I make no apologies, this is me.”
James shared that she felt compelled to record a studio version of “This is Me” after she performed the powerful anthem at this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
