While the weather outside is frightful, Daron Jones of 112 is thinking about “Summertime” on his latest single.
Accompanied by slick production, Jones serenades his lady with musings of vacation flings in the hot, sunny weather. He seals the breezy track with a romantic rhyme.
“Summertime” is the third single from Jones’ forthcoming album, Human, which is due in February. The song follows his 2018 releases “Say Sum” and the title track. Jones’ fellow 112 members Slim and Mike released “Tonight” last fall.
112 is still on a hiatus after calling it quits last summer. The split announcement followed 2017’s Q Mike Slim Daron, their first album in 12 years. It featured their top 10 R&B single “Dangerous.”
