Right on time for Flashback Friday, MAAD dropped “So N2U [VMIX]”, produced by her main collaborators TheVamp.
Hailing from New York City, MAAD slows the upbeat classic, giving it a smooth mid-tempo vibe over the skittering synthy production. Even though she makes the song her own, it stays true to the original track.
She posted on Instagram, “There’s something extra special about 90s R&B. Those chords, those vocals, that feeling!! Had to pay homage to some of my favs SWV & Bryan Alexander Morgan! Thank y’all for giving us timeless music.”
MAAD released her second EP Technicolor last September. She will be joining Tayla Parx and Raja Kumari to open up for MNEK on the Language Tour.
