According to Variety, MAJOR. will make his debut as “Big Head Rashad” on the April 10 episode of the new season. His character, who is related to Carlotta (played by Queen Latifah), is expected to sing a note or two.
“Rashad is this life force and he just comes in and he’s relatable but he brings inspiration, perspective to the storyline,” said MAJOR. who is currently shooting the role in Atlanta. “I help shift the way folks are seeing things.”
On the music front, MAJOR. is nominated for Best Traditional R&B Performance (“Honest“) at this year’s Grammy Awards. The 61st Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, at 8 p.m. EST/ 5 p.m. PST. The show will be hosted by multi-awarded performer Alicia Keys.
