Keep your eyes on Phony Ppl. The sonically daring band recently stopped by the COLORS studio for an animated performance of “Either Way” from their latest project, mō’zā-ik.
The five-man band, styled in eccentric outfits, assemble behind an Olympic blue backdrop for a grand time. Elbee Thrie, the lead vocalist of the band, takes center stage and leads viewers on a lyrical journey that explores a mild infatuation.
In April, Phony Ppl will perform on the closing night of the 2019 Soundtrack of America in New York City. The five-night concert series, which begins on April 5 and ends on April 14 is structured to celebrate the influence of African American music with a new generation of groundbreaking artists. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, on the official ticket hub.
