Just days after releasing her CLEAR EP, Summer Walker has announced dates for a 2019 tour. Dubbed the Girls Need Love Tour, the eight-date trek will launch on March 21 in Chicago and will end on April 1 in Walker’s hometown Atlanta.
The spring tour will support her recent EP and 2018’s Last Day of Summer. Tickets for the tour will be available for sale on Walker’s official website this Friday, February 1, 2019.
Ahead of her CLEAR EP, Walker chatted with Julie Adenuga at the Beats 1 Studio in London to discuss her creative process, goals for 2019 and onstage confidence.
“It’s so fucking weird when I get on stage, I don’t be nervous at all,” revealed Walker to Adenuga. “It don’t make no sense. I be scared as hell all day. Then when I get on [stage], I just be like, ‘Alright, well, I’m here so.’ Except for when I have to talk, I don’t like to talk [on stage].”
