Zapp & Roger wanted “Computer Love” in 1986. Lil Kim, T-Pain and Charlie Wilson wanted to “Download” in 2009. British singer KVNG is looking to “FaceTime” in 2019.
On his new single, KVNG sings about times when two lovers are sexually aroused but have to settle for a FaceTime call since they aren’t around each other at the time.
“When we’re together the tension and attraction is high, but she is reluctant to act on it but regrets it when we get back on that FaceTime,” KVNG explained in a press release. “It’s like being close but never truly close enough.”
KVNG is working on his next project, which will follow his 2016 EP, The Night Shift.
