After a month of teasing his “Your Peace” collaboration with Lil Baby, Jacquees has delivered the official track.
Taking from the R&B stylings of the ’00s, Que is done sowing his wild oats and wants to be a one woman man. With his eye already on a special lady, he asks her to be his source of tranquillity as he navigates life.
Lil Baby adds in dope ad-libs over the throwback production, while rapping about buying the love and affection of his bae.
“Your Peace” is slated to appear on his sophomore album, Round 2, due later this year. He shot the music video for the Lil Baby-assisted track in February.
Jacquees promised his new album will “go harder” than his debut album, 4725. The singer credits his early declarations to the “passionate” recordings he’s created with different songwriters and producers.
As Jacquees plots the release date for Round 2, he continues to perform across the nation in support of his 4275 album, along with his Lost at Sea 2 project with Birdman. His performance will lead up to him playing at the 2019 Essence Music Festival in July.
