We all need to get away once in a while. Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Justin Love sings about it on his new single “Runaway.”
Laced with an infectious melody, Love makes references to a broken heart and shows intentions of wanting to find solace in a world of hurt. The mellow ballad truly shines in the lyric department, as he empties his sorrow.
“Runaway” serves as the first single for his forthcoming album, Love Again. It is a direct sequel to When Love Returns, which he dropped in 2018.
Love teased a snippet of the visual for “Runaway” on his official Instagram page. The ominous clip features the crooner taking a leisurely stroll on an abandoned highway. There is no word when he will officially release the song’s music video.
According to another Instagram post, he plans to drop an acoustic version of “Runaway” soon.
