Emerging singer Alexis Roberts has released a visual for her debut single, “Deeper.”
Directed by THEM (Justin Dunnigan and Gage McRae), the scenic clip finds Roberts and her love interest enjoying each other’s company near a beautiful lake.
“I love this music video because it embodies the depth and feelings I felt while writing this song,” Roberts exclusively tells Rated R&B. “The scenic views and walks deep in the forest we took to shoot it, really brought out the true meaning of it all, because the deeper we got the more beautiful everything got.”
“Deeper” is the first single from Roberts’ forthcoming EP that will drop later this year.
The 22-year-old Atlanta native started her musical journey on YouTube just two years ago, where she uploaded covers of top 40 records that ended up going viral. In 2018, she was enlisted for EDM artist Chris Lake’s single “Turn off the Lights.” The upbeat track gained over 19 million streams worldwide.
