After parting ways with RCA Records earlier this year, Tinashe bounces back with new music — well, not officially.
The California native has released her remix to Chris Brown and Drake’s latest single “No Guidance,” which is lifted from his upcoming album, Indigo, that is slated to release on June 28 via Chris Brown Entertainment/RCA Records.
According to Tinashe, she was feeling Brown’s track so much that she felt compelled to add her touch. “I made this #noGuidance remix last night cuz I was bopping to the song all day and thought it would be fun,” she wrote on Twitter.
It’s been nearly a year since Tinashe has released original music. In July 2018, she released two tracks “Throw a Fit” and “Like I Used To.” Both songs were supposed to appear on her Nashe project, which was ultimately canceled by her label.
Hopefully, Tinashe’s “No Guidance (Remix)” is a signal that official music will be coming soon.
