Khalid isn’t letting tour life slow him down. The R&B newcomer re-ups his Free Spirit track “Right Back” with an updated verse from rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
The rising Bronx MC kicks off the vibrant summertime tune with an addictive trap-star flow that finds him buying for time with a special lady. Khalid follows suit on the remainder of the hazy party anthem, utilizing his same vocals and lyrics from the official version.
Khalid also shared an accompanying visual to go along with the remix. The Director X-helmed video takes place at a kickback where there is plenty of solo cups and good vibes to go around.
“Right Back (Remix)” comes a week after Khalid’s “Caught Up” collaboration with Majid Jordan and month after teaming up with Ed Sheeran on “Beautiful People.”
Beyond his new music, Khalid continues to dominate the charts. His latest radio single “Talk” is now the number one song on urban adult contemporary radio, reliving Monica’s “Commitment” from the pole position. The Disclosure-produced song also earned him the same chart success on urban radio last month.
